Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh - About
In 1973, toward the start of the Yom Kippur War, under direction from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Ginzburg Rabbi went to the warfront to transmit the Rebbe's favoring to officer Ariel Sharon, who later ended up plainly eleventh Prime Minister of Israel. The following morning, after a fruitful fight, Rabbi Yitzchak Ginsburgh gave Sharon a lulav and etrog. Rabbi Ginsburgh established the Chabad house in the Yamit settlement in Sinai, where he lived amid the most recent couple of weeks before the settlement's pulverization by the Israeli government in 1982.
